Improving your feedback invitation

What are the best practices in sending invites for feedback?

Our top priority is to make Starred as user-friendly as possible. We understand that it can be quite exciting to send out your first invitation batch for feedback. You want to have the optimal response rate and make a good impression on your relations.

Timing

Research shows that the best time to send out a business-to-business e-mail is on Tuesday and Wednesday between 13.00 and 15.00. We can confirm this, most Starred feedback invitations are opened in this time slot.

Sender

Another way to get a high response rate is to ensure that the sender is known to the respondent. This way you not only make the invitation more personal by adding a picture, but the sender is also familiar to your customer! Your client understands that you are really interested in what he or she has to say.

Tone of voice

C'est le ton qui fait la musique. Starred offers you to personalize your invitation and e-mail subject.
Your invitation is the start of an ongoing dialogue with your customer and the way you approach them, must be aligned with your type of relationship. Important in writing the invitation is to keep it short and simple.

Reminder

By default, your respondents receive a friendly reminder six days after the invitation is sent out. This reminder is appreciated by the respondents who wanted to provide feedback but forgotten all about it because of their busy schedules. You can, however, disable this option. How to do it, read here.
